What do you think would happen if the next time you spoke, you left the roots on? I’m thinking leaving the roots on could mean, for me, letting my feelings be expressed instead of burying them to keep everyone happy.

Can you give an example of leaving the roots on? I like that image… it seems to mean being present with your whole self in what you say.
Yes, Lila – I think you have it! Stepping forward and taking my space in an assertive manner. Not backing off. Staying grounded.
